After the momentous night of his enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgayā, the Buddha didn’t immediately begin teaching. Instead, he stayed where he was — still, silent, and inwardly radiant. For seven weeks, he remained near the tree, not out of hesitation or uncertainty, but out of a deep reverence for the Dhamma he had realized and the profound stillness that had become his home.
